Diamond fights pearl in a conclusive battle, and finally wins, he knocks some sense into pearl with the help of ember. The friends head to the dark world to find the last shard, Ko awaits them and slays tungsten. Gary and Gabryl defeats the star mage in revenge.

Episode 71 - 80
Diamond heads to the poison forest where the 3rd cobalt star shard lies, the sun mage ambushes them. Ubi dies as a result, tungsten finally slays the sun mage. Palmer and Pearl finally reconcile after a father to son talk. Lyra's house is destroyed by Ko as a shard is in it, the shard is brought to the space tower, where the friends, gary and rufus head to immediately.
